In any making process, materials define constraints and possibilities by becoming the tangible link between our imagination and the experienced environment.
We’ve been experimenting with materials for many years while seeking solutions to problems that compel us to take action for change. Our explorations are situated between craft practices, experimentation with technology and environmental concerns, stimulating us to question how materials purposed for one medium can be repurposed for another? All experiments stem from environmental and social concerns whilst we attempt research-led design.
As material explorers and makers, we’ve always drawn inspiration from material innovation, sustainable design and the jugaar mindset. The fabrication process is highly important in our work, where craft meets technology, challenging the known and exploring the unknown.
